Full steam ahead for Monksmoor housing development

Connells Land and Planning has won a multi-million pound land contract to manage the sale of  the 125-acre Monksmoor Farm development in Daventry.

The instruction, from Capel House Property Trust Limited, comes with planning permission for up to 1,000 new homes, including 350 affordable homes, and which is expected to come to market next month.

Connells land director Matthew Oliver says: “This is a significant development opportunity that we believe will appeal strongly to a consortia of house builders and Housing Associations.

“Not only will it introduce a much-needed boost for first-time buyers and key workers by easing the shortage of private and affordable local housing, it will also create an attractive and sustainable living environment that is well served with open spaces, essential services and transport links.”
